SalusLink
Scheduling software has become a ubiquitous and indispensable tool in commercial construction project management. For most commercial construction projects, it is the schedule that drives and influences management decisions. Interestingly, CPM schedules typically do not address safety issues or concerns despite a high level of interest in promoting safety on construction sites. Funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Conceptual Arts partnered with construction safety experts at CPWR — The Center for Construction Research and Training to develop SalusLink. Specifically created for safety managers, SalusLink lets the user link safety activities to individual line items schedule files. With SalusLink, the safety manager can use the schedule to plan and manage safety.
