NASD

The National Ag Safety database (NASD) is the largest online collection of agriculture safety information. Items in the collection are culled from a wide range of safety professionals and organizations nationwide. Funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Conceptual Arts partners with the ag safety experts at the University of Florida to manage and expand the collection. NASD was originally distributed as a CD-ROM product. In 1996, the CDC contracted with Conceptual Arts to adapt the content for the web. NASD first went live as a website in 1997, and the collection has been expanding ever since.
